Pet care experience
I’ve owned both dogs and cats, and I’m currently the proud owner of Pip, who is a 2 year old rescue. He’s a Black Lab mix, and he's a great dog! I have watched dogs/cats for several friends, and have experience with various breeds and sizes. I have also dog-sat for my older brother out in Sun Prairie, and he owns a German Shepherd and a Newfoundland. I appreciate all sizes and breeds, and am happy to care for both puppies and older dogs! I also have experience with dogs with unique personalities/behaviors, and using leader collars, etc. I'm skilled at being patient and caring with animals, and believe in positive reinforcement! I make homemade pumpkin dog biscuits, and would be happy be bring some along for the walk : ) When I was younger, my parents bred Collies. I grew up surrounded by dogs, farm cats and lots of other animals. My favorite part of every day is my morning walk with my own dog, and I would love to help you out with yours!

Highly Recommend! Best we've had! We have 3 dogs and foster more. We were always worried when we needed to go on vacation or what we'd do if there was an emergency. Then we found Chris. He was available, considerate, caring and amazing with our dogs. He loves each and everyone of them whether its our original 3 or a brand new foster, Chris treats each one like its a part of the family. I cannot recommend enough!!!!
Chris has been watching our dog for years. Couldn't recommend higher. He's a true animal lover! The dog gets so excited when she sees him coming from the window. A+++++
Chris has dogsat for me multiple times. Leaving my dog is hard for both me and my dog but Chris’ love and care makes it so much easier. The dog is never bored with Chris around, they play, they walk, they go to the dog parks. He’s a blessing. Highly recommend!!!!!

A typical day
This depends on the owner, and any specific instructions/requests they provide. I like to stick to a path that I know works well for a particular dog. If the dog is energetic, I will ask the owner what activities they are comfortable with. I am always prepared, with treats for the walk, and some sort of toy for some fun interactive time as well! I have a good supply of dog poo bags, too! Some dogs just like to get out and do their business, which is also fine! Rolling Meadows sadly doesn't have a dog park, but walks can still be fun!
