Experience with all breeds and size
Pet care experience
I grew up in a pet dominant household, useally housing anywhere from three to five dogs at a time. And my family would teach me how to play with the dogs of all sizes and breeds. we had great dane, english bull, black Labrador, and german shepherds. Having all these dogs would mean i would have to build up a lot of patience. If the dogs would come in side for fun then, it would mean that most things are off limits. Including scratching doors, walls, chewing wires, and peeing in the house. Things that set me apart from others. I have physical strength and stamina, meaning ill be more then capable handling larger dogs if needed, and keep control of a leash if a dog pulls.
Reviews
I highly recommend Christopher was so great with our boxers! He was very accommodating and great with communication. Our boys are always excited to stay with Christopher.
We hired Christopher to watch our sr dog and cat in our apartment for 5 days. He was instructed to spend time with our animals. This included feeding and walking our dog, and cleaning out our cats litter. Our dog has anxiety when we leave, and needs longer walks in order to have bowel movements. Due to lack of communication, neglecting instructions, and ultimately not letting our dog out for 13 hours(we checked our cameras and front door log as proof), we let Christopher go halfway thru the service. Within the days he stayed in our home, Christopher told us that he became ill. I asked if he was still able to perform service he said yes. The next day when I asked how long my dog’s walks were he said he couldn’t take him on long walks because he was sick. He asked if 15 minutes was enough time for a walk and if he was still supposed to take him out if it was raining… I told him yes, because my dog needs to pee and poop. He also asked if it was ok if my dog misses meals explaining that the day before he didn’t eat dinner. I was only told about this the following day. I would’ve liked to have been told this when it happened so that I could try to assist in figuring out why. Other than sending photos of my dog with his harness on upside down, the final straw was when he was non responsive for an extended period of time(13 hours without a walk) which resulted in my dog throwing up in our apartment. Christopher’s reason was that he slept through his alarm. I then asked him to leave and had to ask a group of friends to nurse my dog back to health. After reviewing more footage on our cameras, we discovered that Christopher spent his time in our bedroom with a closed door and little to no interaction with our animals. They sleep in our bedroom and we told him that, but for some reason they weren’t allowed in there while he was there(which according to cameras was the entire time he was in our home). Our cats litter also was not properly cleaned out. We had to wash the whole thing out and add all new litter. In conclusion, I would not recommend Christopher for in home stays where it is expected that he spends time with your pets. If he is going to stop by and feed/walk them and then leaves, I assume that will be fine. But absolutely not for a sr dog that needs attention and love and play time. I had to ask in order to get an update on my pets, and even when I did, I received answers that shocked me and made the whole experience very stressful. This stay resulted in the decline of my dogs health and that should never be the case.
My zues was so excited to meet Chris and he brought my buddy back to me the same as I left him thank you so much!!
Treated my little guy like a king. Very friendly and made sure he felt at ease while I was away on a trip. Will definitely be using Chris again!
