I have spent almost my entire life with dogs and cats around. Growing up my family always had a dog, and we have had several cats. I also have become my family and friends dog sitter. If anyone I know goes on a trip, they call me to look after their pets. I’ve been dog sitting that way for the last 14 years. I have experience with special need dogs and giving medication. I’ve worked with a deaf dog, a diabetic dog, and several dogs prone to seizures. I’m experienced in giving oral and injectable medications to dogs. Currently one of the dogs I live with is prone to seizures and with her I’ve gained a lot of experience handling those situations with medications, clean up, and caring for the dog as they go through the stages immediately after having a seizure. I love dogs, I’ve never met a dog that I haven’t liked and that hasn’t liked me. I do everything asked of me caring for a dog and more because I want them to be happy and calm while they realize their people are gone for a little while. I’m good at helping them calm down and get back to “normal” fairly quickly so they too can have a nice vacation away from their owners.
