I love dogs!
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and have always had an especial love for them. As a young professional who hasn't yet settled down, I'm not currently able to own any of my own, so I relish any opportunity to care for and play with them. Most of my pet care experience comes from the time I have spent taking care of my parents' four dogs--a boxer, two hound mixes, and an elderly "little one" whose breed is unknown. Since they're all so different and have such different needs--the boxer has tons of energy and needs lots of play time, the hounds have insatiable noses and need lots of time outdoors, and the little one is a lover and needs lots of attention--I'm equipped to handle all the classic dog personas.

This was my first time hiring a Rover sitter, and Christopher was great! I came home to a happy dog, and a nice note about how the overnight had gone. I would definitely hire Christopher to stay with Lionel again.
Chris is gentle and kind to dogs while also gaining their respect and trust. Chris is my brother and our parents have four very different dogs. They have different exercise needs and whenever Chris is watching them he makes sure all of their individual needs are met. In addition, these dogs don't always have the best manners, but they are always calm, happy, and want to follow the rules when my brother is around. I am a Rover walker and sitter in Portland, OR and from my experience with the services and knowing my brother, I know he'd do a great job. He's punctual, responsible, and a dog lover!
