Pet care experience
I have 5 years of experience working with dogs. I have cared for a wide range of dogs from senior pugs to adolescent ex-stray pitbull foster dogs. I am well versed in diverse training methods and can provide caring leadership and reward based basic obedience. I am calm and gentle with dogs and also able to provide firm boundaries where necessary. I've cared for "aggressive" breeds and reactive dogs and give every dog I meet a fair chance without breed bias or judgement of their past.

Chris walked our elderly pug for several months before we had to put him down. Our pug was rescued and a bit confused- Chris was diligent about rewarding (verbally and with treats when instructed) him for peeing appropriately. Chris was also well attuned to his needs and even carried him if he seemed too tired to make it the whole way. Highly recommend Chris

I am currently unable to host dogs in my home, but in a client's home I make sure to gather enough information about the dog's routine, needs, and rules in the house. I will follow all the care instructions I get to the letter.

A typical day
We will go on walks, throw balls, lay in the sun and have belly rubs, or generally just hang out. I'll pay attention to your little buddy and figure out which activities they enjoy the most.

My schedule varies as I do a number of different jobs, but I can always fit in a walk or two in between other commitments and with enough lead time I can dedicate a little bit more time to dog sitting
