Living vicariously through your dog
Pet care experience
I’ve raised, rescued, and trained dogs over the past 10 years. After I lost my last Bernese Mountain Dog to cancer, I thought I would put my efforts and abilities into helping others. Whether it is a drop in, a walk, boarding, or home sitting visit, I will make sure your dog genuinely feels at home. I live in a home in a quiet neighborhood that is great for long walks. There are several dog parks within walking distance. In addition, there are long nature walking paths nearby that I love to utilize in good weather and bad. I’m always happy to accommodate special requests you may have, so please do not hesitate to ask. While my schedule permits flexibility, I keep my booking numbers / appointments low so your dog receives the proper attention they deserve.

Chris and Brianna were wonderful with our Dane Eastwood. It was his 1st day visit before he goes to spend a week and all went well, we are so relieved to have found a great couple to leave our beast with
Chris is incredibly responsive and detailed with every visit Jessie had with them. He worked with our schedule and was very accommodating to all of Jessie's needs. She loves spending time there and is excited to go back every visit! If you are looking for someone who is responsible and gives your dog the utmost attention in a beautiful neighborhood setting - you found your dogs new best friend!
There are no words to describe how grateful we are to have come across Chris as Missy's sitter for over 2 years. Since the first time we met him, Missy bonded with him right away giving us the peace of mind every pet parent needs when away from their 4-legged child. He was always very accommodating to our and Missy's needs and extremely easy to work with. While we were away, he always kept us informed of Missy's whereabouts and in all the pictures we received of her, she always looked happy and having fun. Sadly due to old age and medical issues, Missy was sent to cross the rainbow this last August; it was one of the hardest moments of our life. We cannot thank Chris enough for the support he gave us during those last moments of Missy with us, his presence, kind words and all the attentions he had with us meant a lot. Chris, thank you! thank you! thank you!
Chris has been my go-to person to take care of Missy since I found him in Rover, a bit over a year ago, every time I have to go out of town. He’s very flexible, easy going and keeps me up to date with pictures of Missy. Seeing Missy’s excitement when I leave her with him and how relaxed she is around him, is a great peace of mind for me when I travel.

I have a lovable goofball Bernese Mountain Dog (nearly two years old now) who loves everyone and every dog he meets. He's the unofficial mayor of the street. I also inherited siamese cats when my mother passed, but they are much older and keep to themselves. They are indoor cats only but if your pet is not cat friendly, this may not be ideal. I have a private yard that abuts walking trails and paths... However, my yard is not fenced in so please let me know if your dog tends to be a Houdini escape artist so I'm well prepared!

Any special care instructions? Any current medications to be administered? Dietary restrictions or preferences? Exercise restrictions or preferences? What commands or tricks do they know?
A typical day
If they are sociable and good with other dogs, there’s a dog park within walking distance that I frequent… In addition, long walks along the river/Parkway are always a favorite go to. A myriad of outdoor possibilities awaits!

My girlfriend and I currently work full time from home so we have plenty of time and attention to devote to your pup's needs. Between both of us, we can accommodate even the most challenging schedule.
