Animals make my life feel complete
Pet care experience
While my pets are unfortunately not with me in Oregon, I've shared life with several dogs, many cats, and a bird. And I've taken care of family and friends dogs off all ages and sizes, some with disabilities. I've raised and trained several puppies. I genuinely enjoy the companionship than any animal provides, and I love to figure out how to work with each individual animal to meet their needs the best.

I have watched Christopher interact with and take care of our dogs and I think what makes him such a good pet caregiver is his conscientiousness with them, that he honors them the way he honors people, and tends to their needs and so appreciates the enthusiasm and respect he gets from them in return. That same conscientiousness must be what makes him a highly responsible individual.

I always make sure that pets have water and the right amount/schedule of food. I make sure to stay in clear and direct communication with the owner of the pet I am taking care of. I am conscious of any handicaps, ailments, or sensitivities that any animal might have. On walks, I try to avoid areas with a lot of traffic as well as asphalt and hot sidewalks.

Availability
I'm currently enrolled in Western Oregon University, and only have in person classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. I'm used to taking care of 2 dogs, several cats, and chickens every day, so the routine of animal care is very familiar and habitual.
