I like to think southern hospitality is alive and well, and as a native of New Orleans, I’d like to show you how that carries over to my doggie daycare skills in my new hometown! I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and always knew that I would work in the veterinary field. When I first started out, I would pet sit for friends and family. I love meeting new people and being able to provide low stress care to their pets when they are away. I do have a dog and two cats and I’ve fostered dogs in the past and worked with volunteer groups in college. I started working at a veterinary hospital in college while I was getting my Animal Science degree at Louisiana State University. I have 10 years of experience as a veterinary technician and in addition to caring for dogs, I have worked with farm animals, reptiles, avians, exotics and pocket pets. I find RoverGo to be a safe, flexible and reliable place for pet owners to find care for their pups while they’re away and that is why I’m so happy to be here to offer you my services! I can honestly say that I love my day job as much as I love caring for other people’s pups! I currently work at a veterinary hospital in Lake Oswego that specializes in dogs and cats, but we also treat exotic and pocket pets as well. I’m comfortable giving medications if needed, including injections, or anything in particular that your pet may need and I’m happy to look after senior pets as well as adolescents! I’m also willing care for cats, pocket pets, reptiles and birds. I will do overnight stays, drop-in visits, dog walks, clean litter boxes, and take care of basic house needs. I can also provide baths and nail trims on request. I have a dog and two cats who are very friendly with other pets. (I can also provide you references upon request.) Walks around the neighborhood are part of our daily routine and we also like to explore the area’s parks and trails. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of any size and personality and my flexible schedule allows me to give your pup the attention they deserve! I consider myself to be reliable, flexible and calm, which I think makes a lot of dogs at ease with me. In my spare time I like to go swimming, hiking, catch a new movie or spend my time on arts and crafts.
