Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Christine. I am that person that cries when an animal dies in a movie (haha). I love animals especially senior dogs. I connect with pets more so than humans, and believe they should be treated as a family member, if not better. We are their advocates, and need to make sure they are taken care of. I lost my beloved Pug, Andy, five years ago from cancer, and vowed to one day rescue senior pugs. In the meantime, I'd like to help other overwhelmed pet owners by making sure their pets are treated with the utmost care and consideration. I believe we are truly lucky to have pets in our lives. "You can tell by the kindness of a dog how a human should be."

Christine was so great with our anxious dog! She was super communicative with us which put us at ease. She was patient and attentive to our dog who is anxious around new people and environments and made it a great stay for her. Will definitely book again!
Christine goes above and beyond in caring for your pup. I could tell from the daily photo updates that Juno was very happy and comfy— walking in different parks/neighborhoods, happily napping at home, and playing with toys. She also takes amazing photos and printed some for me to take home with the sweetest thank you note. Will definitely be contacting Christine again for any future petsitting needs! I only watch one dog at a time when boarding to ensure proper care and safety can be provided. I don’t watch multiple pets at the same time as I find it less stressful for your pet to not have to deal with other pets they aren’t familiar with.

Please make sure to have a schedule of when walks are usually happening so I can stick to that schedule. I would also like feeding schedule with amounts and if any medications is needed. A written schedule is definitely preferred so your pet can have a great time with me with minimal changes to their schedule.
A typical day
I’ll make sure your pet is given play time whether it’s toys they like or cuddles. I will make sure they get a walk in every 3-4 hours with at minimum 30min. each time so they can get all the sniffs in. I let them decide where they want to explore, and will usually direct them towards Lincoln Park or the Lakefront in the afternoon for all the lush grass, sights, and smells.

I work from home and have a very flexible schedule so your pet will get the attention it needs and walks every 3-4 hours (if applicable).
