Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Christine and I am a 3rd year nursing student at Rutgers University that needs a little extra help paying for school! I LOVE all animals and have a great deal of experience with giving care to dogs, cats, snakes, birds, fish, reptiles, farm animals, and even bugs! Majority of my experience is from my own pets that I’ve raised, but I have taken care of pets/housesat for family members, friends, and several families that I’ve worked with/ for through babysitting. I also volunteer my time at my local animal shelter, as well! My availability varies due to my part time jobs and school, but I am typically free during most weekdays and weekends. I am also open to overnight/long term care if needed! I am a very active person and enjoy being outside no matter the weather so long walks while conditions aren’t so great are perfectly fine to me! I strive to provide the best care and ensure that all the animals I care for are comfortable, safe, and are given as much love as they would receive from you! While I primarily run this account and care for my clients, I may also have assistance from my partner, Kevin, who is also an experienced, verified handler. He also has experience working with pets that have aggressive/anxious reactive behaviors and has helped me with a few of my clients. We have even recently rescued a 5 year old Doxin mix that was VERY reactive (aggressive/anxious to new people) due to an abusive background with his old owners. However, with the love and training from both of us, our Willie has done a complete 180. He is a gentle, loving dog that LOVES attention from strangers now. With the both of us together, your pet can also get DOUBLE the love, attention, and socialization!! Christine was consistent in her visits and provided helpful updates of our pets! She was extremely flexible with several changes in our schedule, and able to handle unexpected accidents with our pets.

A typical day
I would take your dog(s) on very long walks around your area or local parks. I would also take your dog(s) on hikes if permitted. Not only that, I would provide long play times to ensure your furry friend is having TONS of fun and they’re releasing all their pent up energy. You will also receive pictures/updates of all the fun your furry friend is having while you're away!
