Grew up on a large race horse farm with a lot of animal care and training experience. Our kids are 12 and 8 and also have been helping take care of our pets for several years now. We do work full time during the week. We have a large fenced backyard with a dog door access. We also walk or run the neighborhood at least once every day. We own an energetic husky mix the requires a lot of exercise. He usually is thoroughly exercised in the mornings before we leave for work and most nights we walk him again. We also enjoy the outdoors and tend to go for hikes and explore many of the parks in our city with our dogs. Our other dog is a 14 year old senior beagle mix who mostly enjoys napping.
