I Enjoy Long Walks and Tennis Balls
Pet care experience
For a dog, every day is a new adventure. Their excitement for every new thing they encounter is infectious. It's hard not to be happy when you're with a dog. Each visit, your pup can look forward to a long walk, a jog around the block, or a trip to the closest park. I'm always ready to throw a frisbee or get in extra scratches behind the ears. For cats, I give brushings, play time and plenty of treats. I can also replenish food and water, brush or bathe your furry friend, and pick up poo or scoop the litter box as needed. Medications are not a problem for recovering or chronically ill pets, just let me know what your pet needs. I can also give special attention and gentle care for seniors. I have flexible availability every day of the week, so no matter what your work responsibilities or social life demands, I can be there. If you have any other animals, I can care for them too. I have experience with many kinds of pets, and would love to care for them all. I love the cavalier and self-reliant attitude of cats, the goofy personalities of goats and the mischievous nature of birds. I'm most excited to have a job where I get to hang out with the best people -- dogs!
Reviews
Christine was super responsible and so patient with Finn. He's a touch anxious and he made through our trip. She's amazing!
Christine was simply remarkable. Incredibly warm, kind and very loving to our pup, Cash. We needed Christine as a last-minute dog-sitter to help me and Fiance nurse our dog back to health after we had gotten him neutered. My fiance usually stays home during situations like this, but she had an insane week at work, and my schedule is always a mess. Christine came to our rescue. She stayed at our home during the workday to monitor Cash's recovery. She kept him company, administered his medication, and made certain our little furball didn't lick his incision. She also provided us with plenty of phot updates, and even washed our dishes! A true lifesaver. I cannot recommend her enough. Thanks so much, Christine!
Christine did a great job taking care of our dogs. They looked very happy to have her over, and she will definitely be getting a call again when we need her for just a night or a longer vacation!
Christine did a great job with my cat! She was very communicative during the entire process. She met my cat before coming in to do drop-in visits while I was out of town. She sent pictures of my cat everyday and reported everything that happened during her visit. I would 100% book with Christine again and highly recommend her to any other cat-owners looking for a sitter.

Information Christine R. would like to know about your pet
Every dog is different, so I like to know as much about a dog's personality as possible so they can be both happy and safe. I like to know how energetic they are, how often they get to expend their energy, what games they like to play and what and how much they eat. It's also important to know if they have allergies, if they tend to eat things they shouldn't, things they are typically scared of, and how well they walk on a leash. With larger dogs that don't do well on a leash or dogs that pull, I prefer walking with a gentle leader or front-clip harness. That way I can help to correct their walking and they can avoid hurting themselves.
A typical day
I start my day with breakfast for me and my pets, then go on a long run. In between projects I give pats and playtime. Then, in the afternoon, a leisurely stroll around the block. I wrap up the night with dinner, yoga (downward dog), and a cup of tea before bed. I'll stick to your pet's routine so they're comfortable and make sure they get the exercise they need.
