Pet care experience
99.9% of my thoughts on a daily basis are about dogs. If I'm not playing Frisbee with my own pup, or browsing videos of rescue dogs on The Dodo and making myself get choked up, I'm volunteering at the Capital Area Humane Society, and now caring for other families' dogs on Rover. My husband and I have a large fenced-in backyard, and I have plenty of weekday and weekend availability to drop in, house sit, walk, and otherwise spoil your fur children like I would my own. I jokingly call myself a helicopter dog mom because I will go to any lengths to make my dog happy, safe, and comfortable, to the point where friends and family tease me about it. He has more options for winter outerwear than I do, and I'm the kind of person who leaves a 4-page, single-spaced list of care instructions when our dog stays with a sitter, and expects hourly Snapchats or (p)updates. I'm also obsessed with photographing dogs, so you can expect me to send you tons. I'm a crazy dog lady who operates an Instagram for my dog with zero shame. It is my philosophy on dog care-taking that there are NO bad dogs, just bad owners or lax care-taking.

I will house sit and provide walks, drop-ins, and snuggle sessions for absolutely any breed, any age, any size. For boarding and daycare at my own home, I would of course be happy to set up a play date or meet-up so that we can see if our furkids get along.
A typical day
My absolute favorite place to walk is Hawk Island park. The trail is scenic, a good distance for walks, and always clean. I also like going for walks on Michigan State's campus, Lake Lansing Park, and Crego Park. I'm always happy to make runs to the pet store for things you may need, and bring your pet along for the ride. If your dog likes to play with other pups, my own dog loves to play chase with friends in our fenced-in backyard!
