Pet care experience
I'm a grad student, and I tend to get lost in my work. I hope your dog can help me remember to stretch, play, and go outside every few hours! I find the company very encouraging. I grew up with a 90 lb lab mix dog. She thought her status in the family was equivalent to my younger brother's, and I can't say she was wrong. I can't have a dog of my own right now, and so I make do hanging out with other people's pups. In the past few years I have spent time with two different friends' rescue dogs, and have found keeping them healthy, happy, and safe to be very rewarding.
Reviews
Chris has been watching my puppy Mo since I first got him about two years ago. She's one of a very small group of people that my pup is excited to see, and he will always jump up to greet her. Chris is an amazingly vigilant caregiver, sticking to the food schedule and medicine requirements I give her. She also sends me photos to show me how well my baby is doing while I'm away. I would recommend Chris as a puppysitter with absolutely no reservations -- Mo has adopted her as an Auntie, and I'm sure many dogs would do the same.
Chris is a wonderful dog-sitter. She's very responsible and loves to play with our dog, and she's so laid back that our lazy dog doesn't get stressed out when we leave. Chris is at the top of our list and we'll be excited to watch our Mina again!

Information Christine P. would like to know about your pet
I want to know anything that might help me keep your furry family member feeling safe and comfortable. The dog you see in my profile pictures had some separation anxiety in the first year post-adoption. I stayed with him when his mom had to travel for work, and was glad to be able to keep him in his home environment and give him lots of extra love while maintaining the routines (including training) his mom established. He has great manners now, and is still the best little snuggler. I'd love to take equally good care of your pup.
A typical day
I'll do my best to maintain your pup's usual routines, as well as providing lots of exercise and petting/snuggling, to minimize their stress when you can't be there. Knowing meal times, usual walk routes, favorite toys and scary things (motorcycles, doorbells, or whatever it may be) will help me take great care of your pooch.
