I've always wanted a dog of my own, but due to city living and renter requirements, it wasn't in the cards. That's when I discovered dog walking. Not only do I get amazing exercise with the pups, but I get to connect and have a relationship with ALL kinds of pets. I'm like the dog-aunt who loves to play catch and give pets treats and then send them back to their loving homes afterward; everyone wins! I work from home and am always up for fun ways to add additional income and fur baby love. I started dog walking when I was 20 as I was putting myself through school at the time. I never forgot about it since then, my husband and I are often the people our friends call first to dog or house sit. My husband had many dogs growing up but his time in the army made pet ownership more difficult. Now we are saving to buy our dream house. He rides bikes and I watch cats and dogs. I live in a tree lined neighborhood with access to many parks. Our back yard is fenced but we prefer hikes over getting left outside. Dog-friendly cafes are also nearby but sometimes your pet's home is best as that's where they are most comfortable. Either way, comfort and care can be provided!
