I've taken care of neighbors dogs and personally I've cared for a German Shepard, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and a Cowboy Corgi ( Cardigan Corgi and Blue Heeler mix). I've also handled Chihuahuas, Rottweiler, and a few other breeds.

For my own pets I take them on daily walks and let them play in the grass that is close to the apartment building. I also take them to the dog parks when the day is nice. I brush them out once a week with corgis being infamous for shedding, I trim their nails myself as well. In the clients home I'm able to do the same thing as long as you are comfortable with it depending on the breed.

Some things that I would need to know ahead of time would be if they are comfortable around other dogs, including my own. How they are around other kind of animals, if they see one on a walk. If they get anxious in large groups of dogs (dog park) or if they require going to a dog park everyday? Are they food, toy, treat, or human aggressive?
A typical day
I love to take the dogs for a walk to see what kind of dog they are and to see where their favorite spots are. Playing with them and taking them to dogs parks are also a good way for them to socialize and hopefully help them lose some of that energy.

I do work full time, but my current hours at work are 9:30 p.m. to about 4:30 a.m. if not a little bit later Tuesday through Saturday. But if you are willing to work with me I will do what I can to always help out for the care of your baby.
