Pet care experience
My boyfriend and I adore dogs, and combined have had and taken care of dogs for about 15 years (3 Border Collies, 1 Japanese Chin, 1 Havanese, and our current Golden/Corgi mix). Nothing makes us happier than seeing a dog happy and well cared for! We use Rover ourselves and know how great it is to have someone trustworthy looking after our pup, and we want to do the same for others. We will do everything in our power to take care of your dog as well as you would, whether it's a quick check-in or a weekend stay. We only host 1 dog per night so that we can focus on keeping your pup happy.

As we've come to expect, Chrissy was a fantastic keeper for Echo. She sent us frequent puppy picture updates of Echo lounging around with her dog, let Echo sleep in her bed even though Echo can be a bed-hog, consoled and counseled Echo through some troublesome thunderstorms, and was all around a perfect dog-sitter. We highly recommend her, and plan on letting Echo stay with her family many times again in the future.
We had several drop in visits while we were away overnight. Christine and Rob are friendly and comfortable with the dogs. Lulu needs medication. Bella is very nervous about strangers. They sent check ins with useful information and cute photos so I knew exactly how things were going and was reassured that my anxious puppy actually was getting the care she needs. I would definitely contact them again for my dog sitting needs.
Chrissy took fantastic care of my dog, Echo. She gave her her medication, kept her happy, let her sleep on the bed, sent frequent pictures and updates, and was generally wonderful. I would gladly leave Echo with Chrissy again. Also, Echo and Chrissy's dog, Dukino, got along swimmingly. They played and slept on the same furniture and quickly bonded. It was lovely to think that I was leaving Echo with a friend instead of abandoning her. (And the pictures I got of the two of them were adorable.)
Christine is dependable, caring and conscientious. Tucker and I recommend her highly!

First, we'd like to make sure they are dog-friendly and that they get along with our dog in particular. We'd also want to know their barking habits - we live on a quiet, dead-end street in a two-family home, so if your dog tends to bark, they may not be the best fit for us. We'd also want to know if they are up to date on shots, their general temperament/quirks, how much exercise they need, if they display any food aggression or have a strong prey drive, and any general health issues we should be aware of. All ages, sizes, and breeds are welcome!
A typical day
Our house is a 5 minute walk from the Arlington Reservoir, which is our usual spot for morning and evening walks. There is a 1-mile trail surrounding it, plus fields that have specified off-leash hours. We frequently go to the Thorndike Dog Park at Alewife, where there are always a lot of dogs to play with. Also, we are both active runners, so your dog can run along with us if they'd like! We also like to hang out in our yard, so your pup will be able to relax both inside and outside the house.
