Christine was great! She sent us plenty of pictures of Stella and Stella loved playing with her dog. My only word of warning is that she lives up a pretty steep mountain and it was a little dicey getting there, given that it was snowing. To her credit, though, she warned us of this fact and offered to meet us at the bottom of the mountain. In decent weather, you'll have no problem getting there ...

We are sad to write this review but we feel it is important for other Rover users to understand the risk of booking with Christine. While staying at her seemingly idyllic home our dog was attacked by her dog Blake, who she had known to be food aggressive. They believe incident happened because of some food was hidden/ had fallen our dog's bed. Our dog Charlie, has 3 lacerations on his body (one that required ...

Our guy Ted was happy and healthy when we picked him up. He had a long weekend to visit and be cared for with Christine.

Dogs are a girl's best friend!

My goal is to help you achieve peace of mind while you are away from your four-pawed buddy. I keep house in our Swannanoa moutain cabin and am an avid walker, taking my own puppy on hikes and runs, so if your pup needs to let loose some energy, I can get it done. If your sweet diva just wants to snuggle and enjoy a cozy home, I've lived with a queen bee. I know ...

What Christine would like to know about your dog

Mainly If they have current illnesses requiring treatment or if they have other special needs. We need to be sure your pup is up-to-date on all flea and tick treatments for the benefit of our future guests and our own pup. This is especially important around Spring time.

Also, if your dog has something unique they like to do or not do, that would be useful information. Also, if your dog mainly likes to play indoors or outdoors.

And of course, I'd like to know if your dog has any history of aggression.

If your dog has allergies to other dog food or grass, we would like to know in case he/she runs out of food or in case they have a reaction to the plants in our backyard. I keep the yard well trimmed but you just never know!

We do have stairs in our home, so I need to know if your pup has issues walking up or down steps.

No breed preferences except that we have raised Goldens, labs, and Aussies/huskies.
