Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Christine. I'm an ESL teacher who loves to fill every spare moment of my life with animals. My goal on Rover is simple: to help dogs live happy, healthy lives! Our family Husky is my pride and joy. I'm not yet able to have a dog of my own, so it would make me so happy to spend time with your special pup! I have dog walking and dog sitting experience, and while I studied abroad in India I even got on the front page of the paper for taking care of the street dogs. In addition to canines, I have extensive experience with wildlife rehabilitation, so I'm not the kind to shirk away from claws and teeth! I can also give your cat some love if you have one. At the ASPCA of New York City, I worked as a medical nursery caregiver during kitten season. I understand that it can be scary to entrust your furry loved ones with a stranger, and it's my goal to help you rest easy and know that they are in good hands with me! Christine is one of the most responsible and loving dog caregiver I know -- she's the kind of person who will make friends with any dog at a party and happily sit, pet, and play with them all night. I've also seen her take excellent care of animals who have special needs, medical issues, or injuries. She is patient and attentive, confident and attuned -- essential skills to have in order to be entrusted with your most precious furry friend. I wouldn't hesitate to ask her to watch or walk my dog (or cat for that matter!) as I would have no doubt they'd be in the best hands possible. Don't hesitate to ask Christine to help in whatever way you need -- walks, house sitting, etc. -- she'll be eager to learn what you need and won't skimp on her delivery.
Christine is a compassionate and caring soul who understands animals, dogs included. She not only has experience working with animals in medical/rehabilitation settings but in-home with my Siberian Husky, as well. Ever since Lucy was a little pup, the two of them have enjoyed many walks together. Admittedly, Lucy is a handful, but Christine handles her well, making sure that she has a great deal of fun without getting into any trouble. Meet with Christine and let her know your pup's needs.
