I love animals; dogs, hamsters, birds, cats etc. I am a pet grandparent now. At home with children we had cat, dog, bird, hamsters, fish an occasional reptile. I fostered several kittens, and cared for a cat while owner was in transition. As a teacher, we had fish in the classroom. I have owned a toy poodle, fox terrier, wheaten terrier, and an airedale terrier. Currently I am on call for a Rottweiler and Rottweiler mix and cat. After retiring from teaching I had a daycare business for several years. Currently I work part time with special needs kids. My current job changes as needed so my availability changes also, that is why I wish to only do weekends to start as I have weekends off.
