Pet care experience
I have been caring for peoples pets for over twenty five years. I was a vet tech for over fifteen years when I started pet sitting. I was a petsitter for ten years when my husband retired and we moved to Sierra Vista from Colorado. Besides giving personal care and love to every pet I also provided daily medications to include insulin shots, sub q fluids and any other medications needed including special diets. I treat and love every pet like my own! I am retired so there are no time or scheduling restraints. I am home twenty four/seven so pets are never left alone. I can take pets on short notice or in emergency situations. I have an eight year old Golden Retriever and a thirteen year old Chihuahua. They both grew up with pets I watched and play and include them in there family. I live in a single family residence with a large completely fenced in and secure yard. Pets are not crated unless you bring your own crate and your pet has been crate trained and is routinely crated.
Reviews
Christine treats your dog like family. Her expertise and big heart take the stress out of any trip - I know when I leave my puppy with her that he is safe and well cared for. Each time I drop him off at Christine’s house he sprints to the door excited to see her and when I pick him up he is exhausted from all of his time spent with Christine and exploring the backyard - what more could a puppy owner ask for! Look no further, Christine is the best pet sitter in town!
The kindest Rover sitters I’ve ever met! I had a quick turn around and desperately needed a sitter on short notice- Christine was very kind and took in my two pups. She sent various updates through out the day, reassuring me they were safe and happy.
Maggie loves Christine!
Christine was great at establishing a good repore with Momo and her new surroundings. All while making things smooth and simple during dropoff/pickup. Momo was very happy on pickup which which shows how comfortable her stay was. Will definitely book again in the future!

Information Christine B. would like to know about your pet
Let me know of any social behaviors, medications, special diets and anything else you think is important to your pet. If your pet has it's own bed you may feel free bring it.
A typical day
A typical day at my home starts with breakfast. Vacationing pets always do best on their own food. After eating it's playtime outside. Pets have half an acre to run and romp. Wether they like fetch or tug of war or just running off some energy they'll have plenty of time to exercise. Late morning to early afternoon most visitors relax, take a nap or chew on a toy or play with Cutter. After treat time it's playtime in the afternoon and maybe a short nap and it's dinnertime. After dinner we usually go outside some more for fresh air and after watching a favorite program on tv it's time to get ready for bed.
