Hi there! I'm Christine, and I had two dogs growing up - a small (shih-tzu) and large-sized (yellow lab) dog, so I know how to work around different-sized pups with different energy levels. I've raised both since they were puppies, and I frequently watch our family and friends' dogs as well. I've also fostered a few dogs of all sizes from the Sacramento SPCA. Because of this, I've picked up some tricks to help me navigate pups with different personalities and energy levels. I absolutely enjoy teaching them all kinds of tricks if they're up for it! I've taken care of dogs with all kinds of different quirks - be it medications, specific routines, pretending to "cook" their food, etc. I'm able to work around their needs (:

Cookie felt comfortable with Christine and Aaron right away! What a relief to find them! They asked about our rules and feeding schedules at home so they could keep him on track and sent a ton of pics and updates. Very nice couple and I’m so glad to have found them!
TO KEEP IT SHORT - THEY ARE AMAZING!!! I trust them 100% with my doggie (Barry). Longer version, I was referred to them by a friend since they couldn't' watch Barry. Like any dogggy pawrent, I was nervous especially because it was a longer trip and I didn't really know them. However, they gave barry so much love and attention. I have boarded Barry with them many times, they are a little further away from me but definitely worth the drive. One time, Barry was out of food and they went out of their way to get him some and didn't even charge me for it. Barry always has a good time there and gets excited to board. I never have to worry and I love that they send me pictures / funny videos of him throughout the stay. Another thing I really love about them is that they are completely honest. There was an incident with Barry but they were completely honest about it and handled it in the best way. I would definitely recommend Aaron & Christine to friends, family, EVERYONE!
Christine and Aaron are amazing! They took excellent care of our dog, sent lots of updates and pictures. They are more expensive than some, but they go above and beyond making sure your dog is treated like family.
Ralph felt at home right away! Christine and Aaron worked with my schedule, kept me updated and most importantly, took great care of Ralph.

A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both physically and mentally. I enjoy trying to teach dogs some new tricks and engaging in sniffing games like snuffle mats, hide and seek, or hiding treats around the house. Depending on your dog's energy level, I'll take them for a morning walk, and they will always get a walk in the afternoon! There's a rather large park in the neighborhood that I walk to every day. It's dog-friendly and very open. Throughout the day, I enjoy playing fetch in our backyard for a quick break from work :) Your furry friend can certainly expect me to cuddle with them randomly during the day!

Availability
I work permanently remote so I’m pretty much always available. I’m able to walk them, take them out for potty every however often they need and overall just let them relax in my home. I like to take daily walks in the afternoon whether or not I have a dog. But walks are always better with a dog by my side :) they definitely make it much enjoyable!
