My happy place is with dogs!
Pet care experience
I have spent a lot of time around dogs in my lifetime, but it was not until one year ago that I got my very own dog - a golden retriever, named Zeus. By volunteering at the Humane Society and by dog-sitting for family and friends through college, I have learned the responsibility and commitment that goes into caring for dogs. I have also learned that nothing brings such joy and happiness as dogs! :) I am currently searching for a new full-time job, which leaves me highly available to assist with others' dogs during this time. I am highly organized and take others' direction well. I promise to care for anyone else's dog with the same love and commitment that I give my own!

Christine took great care of Alice and Ophelia while I was away on vacation!
It has been SUCH a pleasure having Christine walk our dog daily for the past 3 weeks. She always goes out of her way to send cute pictures with maps and mileage of their walks and we always know our dog is in great hands with her. She is always on time and you can tell she has such a passion for dogs. She will be the first person we go to with any rover related needs in the future! Thanks Christine!
Christine was very sweet about sending pics of Luna and also even brought in packages on the porch! Highly recommend.

I would like to know any habits that the dog has - regarding meal times, walking (leash, harness, accessories), sleeping, potty breaks, etc. I would also like to know if the dog has any problems around other dogs or people, so that I can be aware of where I take him or her. If there are any calls/commands I can use, I think it could be beneficial if needed. Please inform me of anything that the owner thinks someone new to the dog should know. I would rather have too much information than not enough.
A typical day
When dogs stay with me, I want to to make sure they have the best time! I will take them on walks along the Ann and Roy Butler Trail along Lady Bird Lake. I am also conveniently located near the Auditorium Shores Dog Park, if that is something the owner would like me to do. In this park area across from the Long Center for Performing Arts, there is also plentiful space to safely play or throw a ball around without worrying about cars. My goal is make sure the dog is stress-free and having fun when he or she is with me!
