Ive always been a dog lover my entire life. I always begged my family to get a dog and they finally caved about two years ago when the pandemic hit. My dog Cherry changed my life and the lives of my parents and sister. Currently I do not have a pet living with me as I am away from my hometown, however when I was back home in Montreal caring for my pet was part of my daily routine as the needs of my pup always came first. I wake up in the morning and take my dog out for a pee, then we come back inside to eat breakfast together. I make sure after breakfast to brush her teeth and then we go on our morning walk where she does her first poo. Once home we relax and I usually get some work done. She is then walked again mid afternoon for about 45 minutes. She is fed her second meal around 5 pm and then walked once again. Before bed I take her out one last time to pee. I make sure my dog has lots of exercise because it makes her sleep well and she is happiest when walked many times per day. I will always ensure pets are having fun and are safe. When walking, it is important to keep dogs constantly supervised during play with others. It is also important to take your time and make sure the dog is hydrated and comfortable.
