Easy-going, quiet home
Pet care experience
We would love to give your pet(s) a second home while you are away, so you can enjoy your trip stress-free. That's why we started hosting dogs ourselves in 2016. After a bad kennel experience with our own dog, we tried Rover and couldn't have been happier. There's nothing like having your pets in a family home rather than a crate in a concrete room. ln our 8 years of sitting pets, we built up such great relationships with our pets and their owners that we've actually been asked to adopt 5 pets who needed to be rehomed for various reasons. We adored every one and would have taken them all, but were logistically only able to take in 3 of them over the years and we worked to help find new homes for the others. Please note that we don't do Saturday drop offs, pickups, or meet-and-greets.
Reviews

A lot of us have dogs. But mine is different. He's a service dog. And I'm a Gulf War era Veteran. We've been through a lot together. So when I had to find someone to watch him I had to find someone special. My prayers led me to Christina, and they were more than answered. From the updates to the pictures, to the extra effort to drop off and pick up, I was absolutely honored to know my dog was not only safe but loved. She was absolutely amazing and even my best friend who picked him up for me said from the moment she met Christian she knew she was an incredible person. If you're looking for someone to not only watch your dog, but love your dog, and help you stay connected to him, I highly, highly recommend Christina!!!

Christina was awesome with our Scruffy cat. She sent us many updates and pictures while we were on vacation, which helped ease our minds on how our cat was doing. He made quick friends with her cat while we were away and we are grateful that he was so well cared for in our absence. We will definitely be contacting her anytime we plan time away!

Super helpful, great with dogs

Christina is amazing caring for our aging Shepard.

Your dog is welcome on the furniture, but if that's not allowed in your house, we'll be happy to stick to your rules here too! It's important to us that your dog feels at home, so nobody gets crated unless it's part of their routine at their own home. (We have a crate on hand, so you can feel free to leave yours at home if it makes it easier for you.) We have experience with elderly dogs, dogs with allergies, special diets, and seizures. So we'll be happy to take care of any special needs in a calm, comforting and loving manner.

Information Christina O. would like to know about your pet
If your dog hasn't stayed with us before, it's important to us that you and your dog come over and meet us before a stay. We want to make sure that everyone is happy and feels comfortable! We don't accept bookings with new dogs with less than a day's notice. If your dog has separation anxiety, food issues, potty issues, or any other special behavior, just let us know! It won't be a problem (NO judgment here, we've been through it all--with our own dogs and visiting dogs), we just need to know what to prepare for.
A typical day
We have an open floorplan house and are very close to the dogs all day. We take regular breaks to play with the dogs and keep them stimulated between nap times. We do not have a fenced yard, but we can put a long line out if your dog does need boundaries outside.
Services

Christina can watch in your home
Availability
We both work from home, so your dog won't spend weekdays alone. Potty break can happen as often as the dog needs them during the week.
