Hi there! My name is Christina and I’d be honored to take care of your pup when you’re away. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and have had experiences taking care of dogs small and large: from Pomeranians to Shih Tzus to Poodles to German Shepherds and Huskies! I’m also currently a paw-rent to my Shiba Inu, Ayla. I also currently volunteer at the NKLA Pet Adoption Center so I have had experiences caring for all types of dogs and their different personalities and needs. As a fellow paw-rent, I know how distressing it can be to have to leave your pup but I assure you that your pup will be in good hands with me. I’ll always update you daily with photos and videos to give you a peace of mind. Living situation: I live in a two-bedroom apartment with plenty of space to run around. Currently, only Ayla (my Shiba) and I live here, so I’ll definitely be able to give your pup my undivided attention and your pup will have a friend to play with as well. Ayla is almost 2 years old and she is very friendly and loves meeting and playing with other dogs. Everyone who has met her, including my vet, has said that she is the friendliest Shiba Inu they’ve ever met! Playtime (what you can expect): I love coming home and playing chase and fetch with Ayla, so you can expect that your pup will be in on this too! I also live a 10 minute drive away from Cheviot Hills Recreation Center, which is a lovely park that I often take Ayla to as well to socialize with other dogs and play ball. You can expect me to take your pup to this park and for long walks around my neighborhood, which has a residential area in the back with lots of green patches. I also often go on hikes with Ayla to Runyon Canyon so this is another activity I could do with your pup. I’ll also give your pup lots of love, cuddles & belly rubs! I believe that dogs aren’t just a best friend or a companion - they’re our babies, they’re our family. And I will take care of your pup just as if it was my own!
