Hi! I own Scobey's Scampers. Our prices vary client by client. The ones listed are subject to change. We offer free meet and greets to determine the customized care to fit you and your pet's needs. We have been puppy/dog caregivers for over 20 years. I have 3 other people on my staff so far and we are all bonded and insured through Pet Sitters Associates. We also utilize Rover for the extra Rover Guarantee which is (insurance/legalities) for extra peace of mind for everyone. We currently have 3 pawsome dogs of our own. Chloe is an energetic lab/pit mix and Poppy the puppy is our baby basset hound. Our other baby, Roxi the doxi just turned one year on April 16th. We also have a bearded dragon, bunnies, ferrets, fish, and a skinny pig (a hairless guinea pig). Our pets are cherished family members, and we will treat your pet babies the same. We are more than happy to watch un-neutered males in your house but unable to by us. Since I am allergic to cats, I have my husband and other staff members cat-sit. My staff is hand picked very carefully and most are long-time friends and clients. My husband Jonathan also cares for freshwater fish, bearded dragons, ferrets, cats, lizards, some birds, guinea pigs, bunnies and turtles..He will soon be able to take care of salt water fish too. We decided to work together to take care of as many animals as possible. We also have friends at Stand Still Photography that offer photo shoots. We also make customized pup and purrfolios for keepsake memories. We are professional pet-sitters, meaning we took many classes to become certified and to be designated professionals. We are currently members of Pet Sitters International and Pet Sitters Associates. We are becoming members of National Association of Professional Pet-Sitters, IACP which is the International Association of Canine Professionals and more. We are also Pet CPR and First Aid certified. These organzations cost money to be a member so we invested in our education to prove that we take this business seriously. We hope to open a non-profit facility to rescue animals one day soon. Christina and Jon did a great job taking care of my guys while I was away. I came home to happy, healthy, tired pups. They played with my guys, gave meds to my older guy and respected my home. I got multiple updates daily so I always knew what was happening at home.

Christiana, is a exact dog sitter. She goes above and beyond your expectations. I can not believe how relaxed she made me feel while I was at work. She seems to keep you informed from the moment she picks your dog up and send pictures of your dogs stay. She cares truly about your animals. I have two other dogs and I do not need her to watch them because they are trained, but my pit bull does, and she comes to my house and lets my other dogs out, while she picks up Maryjane. I would highly recommend Christiana to anyone. She also took my dog to get her nails done and they look awesome. I am so happy that I found such an amazing person! I am going to use her again to watch my dog.

We do not have a breed preference. We love all of them, but want to know the breed out of curiosity! We would also like to know the dog's name, age, emergency contact, what they enjoy, if they need medicine, if they have allergies, if they are allowed on furniture, if they are allowed treats and any other pertinent information their owner needs us to know. We know how to care for special needs dogs. We are planning to join Petsit USA and other animal friendly organizations. We just earned our pet first aid and CPR certifications from the American Red Cross.
A typical day
We will incorporate canine enrichment catered to the individual puppy or dog's physical abilities and their disposition. These include physical, exploratory, and social activities such as obstacle courses, going on walks or elisurwly strolls around the block or at a nearby park or wherever the owner suggests. There is a dog park nearby and we aren't too far from Lake Katherine in Palos Heights. We can play ball and Frisbee. We will take pictures and videos and send them to you. If they stay here in the summer, we have a baby pool and sprinklers for the water lovers like Jonathan and air conditioning for those who prefer the inside like me. We can snuggle with them, give them belly rubs, and tons of love and affection. :) We are licensed, bonded and insured through Pet Sitters Associates.
