Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I remember-- some of my favorite childhood memories include playing with my two pups. When I was 13, I got my first puppy. When I was 20, I raised my family puppy (a Cocker Spaniel -poodle mix at 8 weeks) into a well-mannered and house-trained dog (now 3 years old). Now, as a Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate student who is living in an apartment that doesn't allow dogs, I am looking for an outlet that will allow me to get my dog fix! I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have volunteered at animal shelters, and during that time, I interacted with rambunctious pitt bulls, shy mutts, and young puppies. As previously mentioned, my family has always included at least one dog, so I have had extensive experience dealing with every scenario that could arise. No pup is too much for me! I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Wildlife Conservation, and I began a Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Chatham University in fall 2018.
