Pet care experience
I grew up with 2 labrador retrievers and have kept cats, a rabbit, and gerbils. I now care for my husbird, Pidge, a pigeon I adopted from the Wild Bird Fund, where I volunteered, both supervised and unsupervised, as a caretaker and rehabilitation assistant for injured wildlife. Previously, I also served at the SPCA, where I cared for dogs and cats, taught basic commands, and assisted prospective owners with adoption. I have experience sitting dogs, cats, and birds. If your bird has a flight suit, I can easily dress him so he can stretch his wings in the house while you're away. I am also happy to attend to light housework to keep your home in ship-shape for your return.

I will let your pet lead the way! It’s his home; I’m just a bipedal stranger with opposable thumbs whom his parents have left unattended with him. I will pet or play with him if he asks me to, but I will also respect his privacy if he just wants to watch TV.
