I am 37 years old, married, and a stay-at-home-mom (and homeschooler) of two beautiful children: a 6 year old boy and an 11 year old girl. We currently have 1 border collie cross, a catahoula leopard dog, and a border collie puppy who is a service dog in training. We also have chickens and two rats. However, we moved from a farm several years ago where we had three dogs, 7 horses, several barn cats, rabbits, chickens, mice, hamsters, and pet rats. Our oldest dog, Mia, is 11 years old, spayed, and The Boss. Lol. She gets along well with other dogs, although in her "old age", she's become grumpy and likes to make it known she's the queen. She gets along well with cats and kids. We rescued her from the SPCA in Cincinnati nine years ago and never looked back. Our Catahoula, Finn, was a rescue off the streets when he was 4 months old. He's about 3 Years old now, and a playful boy! He's big, and a complete love bug. Finn has never met an animal or person he didn't like. Evie is the youngest. She is an 8 month old service dog in training. She's very well mannered, especially in public, but still a puppy. She loves to play. She loves all other dogs, sometimes shy around people. Because of her, it is IMPERATIVE that your dog is absolutely not dog aggressive at all. We are all in love with animals in this house, and, for me, animals are my passion. I have a BS in Animal Science/Equine Science, and over twenty years of experience in the animal care industry. I want my clients to feel like they are leaving their fur-babies in the best possible hands. Not only will your pets be cared for physically, but also emotionally. When dogs are boarded in my home, they are treated just like our own. This means that they go for walks at the park with us, play in the yard with us, cuddle on the couch or in the bed with us. I also strive to keep your pet(s)' routines as close to normal as possible. Therefore, if your dog sleeps in a kennel, you are welcome to bring one, if he sleeps in your bed, that's where (s)he'll sleep here.
