Let me help you with my services

Pet care experience

Currently just finished my BS and looking to take some time off and be more present with my kids before I jump back into the professional world. I realized I can utilize this time better by helping out pet owners as an alternative to a boarding facility, especially for pet owners whom have large breeds. I've used rover since it was dog vacay, and dog sitters were often booked up or not enough available in my area. This made perfect sense to help out my community and offer my services while I was available. I can host doggos up to 100lbs as anything over I am not comfortable with (they tend to walk me!). I'm able to administer oral medications but am uncomfortable with injections currently. I have three children in the home ages 10 and 15 who love to help out. Although currently we do not have any pets in the house as we've had to recently put our dog, Buddy Lee, down the boys are aware of how to behave around animals.

Christina was an excellent communicator. She sent videos and pictures allowing me to know my pup was on vacation too. I hope she is available the next time I have an opportunity to get away.

Christina took Reika for a week and a half while I was away and took great care of her! I got daily updates with pictures and videos and Reika seemed very happy there!

We had a wonderful experience with Christina. After our typical dog sitter cancelled the day that we had to fly to Florida (super stressful!), Christina offered to dog sit starting the very next day. She was very understanding and responsive, updating us about Darcy at least once per day. After a wild start to our Christmas vacation, we felt so much better knowing that Darcy was in the care of Christina and her family!

Safety, trust & environment

If your dog is food dominant we have space where they can eat without any distractions. Pets are allowed in all the rooms. We have a fenced-in pool area with space that is great for dogs whom may struggle on a leash but are high energy so I have that option where they can roam stress free yet managed.

Information Christina H. would like to know about your pet

Where do your furry babes prefer to sleep? Do they get anxious in new environments? Do they have "no-touch" spots? Are they food dominate? Do they love to run? Do they need a leash while outdoors?

A typical day

Our Fort Hills Farms neighborhood has many dogs, so walks around our one-way in/one-way out, 2.5 mile loop neighborhood makes strolls very exciting and pet friendly. Getting in a couple 5K's is a breeze.

Availability

I go by the pet's schedule as I am home during the day. We are outside the majority of the day, and often enjoy sitting under our breezeway in the late evening to watch the sunset. If I have an obligation in which your pet may be left for an extended period of time I will let you know before confirming the stay.
