Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life around dogs in one way or another, owning, fostering, and sitting for them. I currently own a 2 year old male schnauzer mix I rescued when I moved to Texas. Dogs provide us with unconditional love and deserve the same in return. I am patient and nurturing and have experience with many breeds. I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, biking, hiking, and riding horses. My friends and family joke that when it comes to animals, they just know I am a kindred spirit and easily gravitate towards me. I hope to share that special connection with your pup and provide you with peace of mind that they are in safe hands while you are away!

Christina was amazing with our two pups. She was so attentive to their needs and really understood their personalities. She stayed in our home and went above and beyond bringing in packages, shoveling snow and even offering to make boiled chicken if our fussy pups demanded it :) We had last minute changes to our flight and she graciously extended her stay with us. Our pups were in great spirits when we returned home which made us so happy. We will 100% rebook with Christina in the future! We never worried about how our dogs or home was while we were away. We cannot thank Christina enough for taking care of our high energy pitmix in our home! Our dog has never been left alone and goes everywhere with us. I was anxious before leaving her, and Christina made us incredibly comfortable and communicated back and forth with us throughout her stay. She was great with Lola and made sure to get her energy out with multiple walks per day. We will definitely be using Christina again!
Christina was our first sitter through Rover and it was a great experience. She was punctual, professional and checked in with pictures and texts throughout the visit. I could tell that my pups were happy when I got home. I will definitely rebook her services!
We can't say enough great things about working with Christina! She stayed in our home for a week with our elderly pup Hailey, who has behavioral quirks and health issues that have worsened since pre-pandemic when we last worked with sitters. We were very nervous about how Hailey would do, especially with someone new. Christina was attentive and patient with our girl in our initial meet and greet and gave us the confidence to book with her. We're so glad we did! We got daily updates and Christina didn't hesitate to reach out when there were a few medication and crating challenges. Knowing Hailey was in such great hands allowed us to enjoy our time away.

Please let me know if your dog is aggressive towards people or other animals. While I am always aware of my surroundings and the well being of your dog, it's best to know behavioral patterns before hand. This also applies to entering the home and behavior at meal time. Do they bark excessively? Do they jump? Do they protect their food? This allows me to understand my boundaries and respect your dog.
A typical day
I would love to take long walks and enjoy fresh air with your pup. Depending on your dog's needs, I can acclimate the amount of exercise and attention they need.
