Pet care experience
My husband Scott and I travel a lot and with a dog of our own, we know it’s tough to leave your loved ones at home! Due to our ongoing trouble finding that perfect someone to watch our pup, we’ve decided to try to help others in the same situation, by offering a happy place to stay while you are away! Our pup is getting older and is only 5 pounds, so we specialize in small dogs and larger dogs who are a little older. We have a very calm and quite household where lazy days are a plenty! Our pup loves to lay around and snuggle most of the day. We have a large home where the dogs rule the roost, with all access to everything comfy and fluffy, including the couch and bed! I work from home and have no children, so I have the time and flexibility to offer your pet lots of attention and potty breaks throughout the day. The safety and happiness of our pup and yours is our #1 priority, so we only allow one family at a time. If you book with us, your pet will be the only one in our home during that time, other than Juniper, of course!

Christina was an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to keep me informed about how my little girl was adjusting. I felt my dog was safe and being cared for with love and receiving lots of attention and curated care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christina and her family again. She was friendly, helpful and a great caretaker. We will definitely use her again.
Christina took good care of my babies for a weekend in Nashville. I was completely at ease knowing they were in her care. Will definitely seek her out again when passing thru next time. Added bonus, she even kept a plant for me that I had purchased along the way.
Christina did a wonderful job keeping in touch, sending pics and taking great care of my dog Louise once again!
Christina was great with our furbaby Cowboy. She gave us lots of details and pictures during check ins and put our mind at ease. Cowboy loved playing with his new friend and we will be using Christina again.

Our pup Juniper is not spayed, so I unfortunately cannot take males who are not neutered. The house is fenced on 2 sides and is set off the road, providing extra safety in the front and a shallow creek, providing a natural barrier in the back. Our pup is trained off leash and has been very safe, however if your pet is not trained off leash, we will make sure they are leashed every time we go outside. We have had many pups stay and have been very successful with both approaches. I have included a photo of our front and back yards, but please let me know if you have any questions.

While Juniper loves having friends come over to visit, for safety reasons, we do have a 55-pound weight limit on pups we can watch, due to her age and small size. We do make exceptions for extra-large senior dogs, who would be less active and less likely to run into and/or knock Juniper over, as long as they are able to go outside without a leash. I have some health issues that prevent me from being able to leash and handle a dog over the 55 pound limit. Unfortunately, Rover does not have a weight category between 16-40 and 41-100, so we will have to manually decline extra-large dogs. Please reach out to discuss further.
A typical day
Since I work from home, I can also provide drop ins at your home, if your pets are comfier in their own space. I can also water plants and bring in packages, to help you while you are away. I am a 47-year-old professional, so I am extremely trustworthy when it comes to your pet and home.
