Pet care experience
I loved and cared for my 75lb American Bulldog/Doberman mix, Bruno, for 15 years. Unfortunately he crossed the rainbow bridge and my home and heart were missing the warmth and joy that only animals can bring. In March 2021 we adopted two beautiful Staffordshire Terriers and our hearts were once again so full! In September of 2022 we adopted their biological father as well! I would love the opportunity to extend my experience and care to some of your furry friends! Caring for animals is something I am very passionate about. I have been sitting other people's beloved dogs since I was a teenager and I truly feel like every dog is unique and special. Getting to know them is the best part about this job, and I approach every new interaction with curiosity and excitement because of this. I believe animals should be treated with respect, kindness, compassion, and consideration.

Christina recently took excellent care of my sweet but high maintenance chihuahua, Tequila, for two weeks. My little girl was always very happy with her! We definitely look forward to having Christina take care of Tequila again in the future.
I own a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix named Mia and I'm sure some of you know that those breeds tend be on the aggressive side. Well Mia is no exception. She tends to be unfriendly to strangers but after a bit of a warm up period she seemed to like being around Christina. Christina was very warm and patient with little Mia and once Mia dropped her guard, Christina was quite playful with her. Upon subsequent visits, Mia was excited to see Christina and seemed happy to go for walks with her and play games. i would highly recommend her to anyone as a dogsitter!

I'd like to know if your dog is handsy (reacts nervously to hand movements), if there are places he doesn't like to be touched, if he has allergies, if he knows how to walk on the lead (especially if he is large), and if he knows his name.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs to parks or open fields where we can explore and they can sniff everything the way they love to do. I also love teaching them new things, and testing their intelligence and memory. Some dogs are so smart!
