I grew up with multiple pets in the home — my best friend and I dreamt of being vets as little girls. I’ve always had a passion for animals and that’s continued into my adult life (despite pursuing career in tech instead of following my childhood dream). Nowadays, I’m the on-call walker and sitter for my friends dogs and kitties alike. My previous work from home job provided a ton of flexibility, and since being a part of mass layoffs in the industry and unable to find new employment, my calendar is even more flexible! My social calendar doesn’t allow me to have pets of my own, so please, allow me to walk off this layoff with your pet!
