Pet care experience
*I do not accept clients that are not spayed/neutered- please don’t ask for an exception! Follow me on Instagram @thepawsomeplace to see what we are up too and individualized doggie highlight reels :) I’ve personally owned and taken care of other animals for over 18 years. Kennel experience, farm sanctuary volunteer, dog foster mom, animal rescue / spay & neuter clinics in 3rd world country experience. Long time vegan and animal rights advocate. I will treat and love your furry friend as my own. I’m a home maker, having left the real estate industry. I now have the best job in the world as a stay at home dog mom to my little guy and my clients 🤍 *I prefer to not book out more than 6 weeks in advance, see above for availability I have a large yard that is 100% fenced. Your furry friend hangs out with me in the home and will go on leashed walks in my neighborhood and sometimes nearby parks. Supervised playtime in the yard. My home has a fully finished basement with a large doggie play area. It’s a walk out for easy access to go potty and head out for walks.
Reviews
Christine was wonderful! It was Bear’s first experience being away from home with someone he didn’t know. She knew just what to do to make him comfortable. She kept me posted with updates and cute photo shoot pics. I will definitely work with her again.
I couldn't ask for better care for Bella. She is a senior dog and has a lot of anxiety, but when we leave I know she is in such good hands. Love the pictures too!
Christina was amazing. We don’t leave our dog with many people. She is the only one besides family that I use. Myla is always happy when she gets there and when we come and pick her up. I know she is always well taken care of. She’s a very picky, picky eater, and Christina goes out of her way for us.
Christina is the first person we’ve left our fur baby with that wasn’t family or a friend ever and she did not disappoint! She is so sweet and welcoming from our very first conversation and first meeting. She immediately made us feel comfortable. My dog is normally super shy and ended up warming up to her quickly. For as long as we live in Utah I will only have her watch our Otis. She sent us photos and updates daily which made me feel so comfortable. She sent him home with a little bandana and a magnet with his photo on it. I will be booking daycare times with her as well just to get our Otis some socialization with other pups. Christina is simply the best!

My home has a large 100% fenced yard. Designated doggie areas include the entire yard, upstairs living room and entire basement, which is finished and converted into a doggie day camp area. Dogs who are crated during the night will be in one of the designated areas. I always aim to keep each environment cozy, relaxed and safe for each client.

Must have up to date vaccines and pass a quick meet and greet temperament test with my dog. Create training is not necessary but for dogs with separation anxiety/destructive tendencies and high energy would need to provide a crate the dog is comfortable in for nights and if I need to leave the house for any reason. * I book according to temperament, please be thorough on your dogs description for behaviors and energy levels. *I can not accept clients that are not house trained or have incontinence issues. * I do not accept dogs that are not spayed/neutered. I see this as irresponsible on the owners part and I will not work with you, do not even ask.
A typical day
Walks around my neighborhood and field trips to nearby parks. Lots of love and cuddles. I keep a very mellow home environment and a fairly strict morning and evening “wind down” routine so dogs acclimate quickly and reduce stress and anxiety. Expect a short daily report and several pics per day. We love photoshoots!
