Pet care experience
I’ve raised my Shiba Inu puppy since she was 8 weeks old until she passed at 13 years in 2022. I’m experienced in training, walking/running with leash, special diets, administering medication, and giving lots of belly rubs! I’ve had experience fostering puppies and other senior dogs as well. I'm an experienced house-sitter, often once per month at a minimum. I leave your home cleaner than you left it and pups happy! I will give your dog the utmost care depending on your specific needs, just let me know :)

As always, Christina was so incredible with Nala! She’s also so thoughtful and easy to communicate with, and sends frequent and detailed updates and pictures. Thank you!
Christina is always so amazing with Nala! She takes incredible care of her and sends detailed updates and lots of pictures. I can tell Nala loves spending time with her and she comes home so happy.
Amazing sitter!! Connie can be very particular about who she surrounds herself with and she loved Christina. Christina was great about checking in with me, and super flexible when I was running a little late for drop off and pick up. We will definitely be using Christina in the future for our sitting needs. 10/10, highly highly recommend
Pros: Coop seems to have been cared for, but he will not be visiting Christina again as I don't believe she is responsible enough. Cons: Very minimal communication. Confirms pick-up time then assumes that doesn't actually apply and any time within the original window is fine (without any communication about needing to update until you reach out to her). Did not follow the feeding schedule as she confirmed she would. Took my dog out of the county without any communication on the day of and after the time of the confirmed pick-up. I really wanted this stay with Christina to work out so when she only sent 2 daily updates when I requested a minimum of 3 (and no maximum since my dog is so important to me), I let it slide because I wanted it to work out for future visits. But when we confirmed the pick-up time the morning of pick-up (for 3:30pm), and then I landed at SFO and reached out immediately to re-confirm the pick-up, she said she wasn't done with "errands" yet and pushed it out farther (to 4:30-5pm). Okay, fine, things happen, I let it go though I was already worried this being his first stay with her. Then, I had to reach out at 4:30 when she didn't confirm her timeline as she said she'd let me know when she was 30 minutes out and this is when she said she needed up to another 2ish hours (which would be a 5-7pm pick-up) and I said I'd like to pick Coop up myself now and would meet her on her errands and she said she'd actually taken him out of San Francisco to San Mateo (without any notification of this prior) and she was helping with her sister's newborn and couldn't get back sooner. I told her I wasn't comfortable with this and would like my dog back as soon as possible. Given she had now essentially lied twice about pick-up times, but never was the one to reach out to me first, I had to be the one to reach out and ask when I would see my dog again. The original pick-up timeframe when I booked was 3-7pm, that is true, however, she and I confirmed a 3:30pm pick-up and when she found out she couldn't do that she should have reached out right away and instead I had to reach out both times and each time she pushed it out farther thinking thinking that the original timeframe applied more so than our actual confirmation of a specific pick-up time. When she finally got back to SF, I found out she hadn't watched him when he ate his food during his stay which caused him to entirely miss a meal (1 out of 6 for an under 6 pound dog). I also tried to explain how horrible all of the worry had been from her not communicating any of these timing updates until I reached out so I had no idea where my dog was or when I was actually getting him back with her continually pushing the times and she didn't seem to understand anything she had done wrong. I understand that it seems she did care for my dog well, but her communication needs to improve. She is tasked with caring for our tiny family members, but that doesn't mean they are hers to do with whatever she wants and when she pleases. They are our pets who are entrusted to her with the condition the owners be kept informed and updated. We won't go back to Christina, but I do hope she learns better communication plus how important confirmed pick-up times are and that any deviations from that need to be explicitly communicated ahead of time.

At home, I plan to be with your pup 24/7. I don’t leave small chewable items around for them to get into or leave bones/treats unattended. If I’m out to run errands, I have a Furbo dog cam so your pup is never out of sight! If I'm at your home, I adhere to your rules regarding the home and always make sure the pet is safe -whether out of certain rooms, never leaving food out, and always cleaning up, I make sure your pup is comfortable in their own home.

Information Christina C. would like to know about your pet
I’d love to know if your dog has any special needs or medication, how they are with other dogs/animals, and what makes them the most happy for a comfortable stay!
A typical day
I can do any activities your dog loves to do! Whether that’s run, walk, explore neighborhoods and sniff every tree, or just chill - I’m up for it. I love Chrissy Field and Half Moon Bay for the ones that love the beach. I enjoy hikes as well if they’re active and love the outdoors.

Availability
I work from home so my schedule is very flexible for your pup! I give walks before, during, and after work, with a longer walk at night near a big park. I can bring your pup with me on errands and adventures on the weekend, or leave them at home (never for more than a few hours) depending on your request and their personality.
