Pet care experience
I'm a dog lover, have had my own for years. Currently I own a Shiba Inu named Aru (that means "to be present" in Japanese). I grew up with miniature dachshunds, poodles, terriers and huskies. I've done basic training of my dogs, treat them like family and maintain good boundaries. I connect well with dogs and other animals, and am passionate about their health, safety and attention. I am very active and love to engage with animals out in the world. This is a dream job for me to be with pets all day! I have great references, am responsible, loving and respectful. While it's super fun to take care of animals, I am also professional and take my work (and your pets wellbeing) seriously.

This was the first time I'd used a pet sitter for my two dogs and Christina did a fantastic job. They were taken care of just as if I'd been home myself. Highly recommended!
Christina's excellent rating is well deserved. Christina texted me when she arrived (right on time) and then sent me pictures of my Fergus at play. I could tell he was loving his play date. Christina sent me another text when she had finished with Fergus and he was ready for a nap.
I have a 3.5 year old Border Collie (Ceili). Christina is great with her. She has taken Ceili to the dog park and actually brought her home worn out (this is difficult to accomplish). Christina is a thoughtful caretaker and understands my specific needs for Ceili's care, paying excellent attention to the details. Christina shows up when she says she will and follows through on her commitments. I highly recommend her for your pet care needs.
Christina is a wonderful pet sitter. My little dog, Fergus, is excited to see her which assures me that he feels loved and well cared for by her. She pays special attention to his health and well-being as well as engages in play and exercise with him. She keeps me posted while he is in her care and let's me know of any issues she senses along the way. Christina also follows my requests about feeding, treats, and other routines that I have established. I highly recommend Christina who while being very professional, loves what she does and will take loving care of your pet.

The best time will be had by all if I know your dogs commands, what he likes/doesn't like, his bathroom habits...does he/she prefer to hide behind a bush? Are they skittish with other animals? Are they skittish with humans? Are they a lap dog, do they like scratched behind the ears or tummy rubs? My goal is to give your pet the best of times, so the more I know about how they like to engage, how they can be best taken care of and what habits you have already established, the more success we will have!
A typical day
There are so many great parks in Lakewood, I walk them all with dogs. Anything from short trips around the pond, to a couple of miles depending on what the dogs needs are, I'm ready for it! I'll go on runs with dogs that want/need more activity, I love to play games with dogs as well. If you dog is already trained to fetch, catch, etc I'm all over that. I am also happy to reinforce trick training you've already started, with or without treats. Dog parks are also a favorite if that is something your dog is familiar with, it's so much fun watching dogs play with each other.
