Christy was amazing! This was my first time using Rover and my wife and I definitely found our dog sitter moving forward. Our dog Abby is pretty big (75 lb rotty/lab mix, i think!?) and not the easiest of dogs in situations, especially with other dogs and sometimes people she just met. Christy was kind enough to come and walk Abby once a week for about 5 weeks before we went away. I think that huge because it allowed Abby to get to know and trust her. I asked Christy to stay the night as Abby does much better when she gets to know someone and is definitely more comfortable with someone around. Christy's overnight rates were extremely reasonable. It was also nice that she lived close by. Christy sent updates, pictures, and videos everyday and it was great to see Abby happy and having a good time. We happen to have a pool and it was great to see Abby hanging with Christy's child and trying to stay cool in the heat. We went away for 2 weeks and normally we have friends watch our dog because she knows them very well (they have a dog as well, rescued from the same facility). Our friends could only take the second week so we found Christy to take the first. I was pretty nervous about the first week because I just wasn't sure how Abby would do. I texted Christy mid-week to let her know that she was doing an awesome job because of all the videos she sent, I could see Abby was an incredibly happy pup. I honestly couldn't imagine myself using another person on Rover moving forward. Thanks again, Christy! You were fantastic and although pretty new to the neighborhood, we will definitely recommend you to anyone in the area!
