Pet care experience
Experienced Veterinary Assistant for the past 8 years and have train dogs with basic training techniques for the past 12 years. I have owned pets from 5-110 lbs, all shapes, and sizes. I have an incredibly keen eye for any health concerns and/or behavioral issues. I can give subcutaneous fluids, give medication, nail trims, etc and I give lots of hugs and kisses. Some of my dog training included; separation anxiety, dog aggression, and basic commands. I love helping pets and people so it's absolutely no problem for me to be contacted any time with any questions or concerns. I know being away from your fur babies is difficult, I make it a priority to send you pictures of your pet during their stay and let you know how they are doing. I walk 4-5 times a day (or more if needed) with one 20 minute walk in the morning and an hour + walk in the afternoon. Also can vary on the dog, if there are any health concerns, etc. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at all.

Christina is amazing! She takes care of my three dogs, one of whom has special needs. She has great, confident, and calm energy with the dogs and clearly cares about them. She is reliable and has a can-do attitude, highly recommended!
Christina had her work cut out for her with my little 5 pound neurotic dog, Abby. We were going on a 10 day trip and Abby has never been away from us in 7 years. I knew this would be a shock to her and not an easy transition. I decide to have a couple practice stay nights with Christina to make the transition of the 10 days a little more smooth. Christina was up for the task and jumped right in. She took on Abby as her own and did EVERYTHING to make her feel comfortable. She even tried wrapping Abby in a sling against her to comfort her. Christina kept me updated daily with pictures and videos. I knew Abby would go on a hunger strike and was delighted when Christina sent me videos of her eating. I could go on and on about how wonderful Christina was with my baby but this will sum it up best... Abby missed Christina so much when we brought her home that she would watch out the window for days looking for her. Every time someone walked by that looked like her she would whine and cry. Thank you Christina for loving my baby and taking such good care of her! You are the BEST!!!

A typical day
I live 5 minutes from balboa park. I usually take the dogs around the park 1-2 times a day and walk your dogs every 4 hours, depending on their personal needs. I have a court yard for them to sun bath all day! And lots of toys to play with.

Availability
I’m currently working from home so I have time to watch them and make sure I am meeting their needs. I take them for a 15 to 20 minute walk in the morning and pee breaks in the afternoon. The late afternoon/ early evening (usually after dinner), I take them for their 40-60 minute walk around the park. At night, they get 1 to 2 more pee breaks during a short walk 5 minute walk .
