Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting, walking, and training since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, family, and friends have asked me to bathe, feed, walk, train, and board their pets. I am used to having about 3 dogs in my apartment at all times. I love what I do and treat each animal with the love and care as if it were my own.

Christienne A. did a wonderful job of taking care of our dog. I could tell right away that she is great with dogs, and she sent update pictures throughout our dog’s stay. She gave him plenty of walks. Our dog was well-cared for. I will definitely book with Christienne again!
Super sweet and communicative!
Christienne was two hours late returning our dog to us. My level concern went from patiently waiting for her to reply to my multiple messages and phone calls to utter fear and downright angry. She claims I “wanted to pick him up a day early” when I have documented messages CLEARLY stating the care time was one day from 9:30am - 7pm. Regardless of that, to not hear back from a Rover sitter for 2 hours is, absolutely, unacceptable in ANY situation! She had no regard for my concern for my dog’s wellbeing when she handed him over with a half-ass “I’m so sorry”. She claims my dog had accidents all over, but she was caring for two other dogs; so, I both question the validity of this statement as well as wonder if he was taken out a sufficient amount of times or at all. Additionally, when we got home he guzzled down two and a half bowls of water (he’s 15 pounds, that is a TON for him). We have had nothing but fantastic experiences with Rover and I am sorry this had to happen and hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I have a 2-bed, 2-bath apartment with a balcony. There is one bedroom and bathroom entirely for the dogs, but they are also allowed in the rest of the apartment. I allow them on the bed in the dog room, just not on the bed in my room. I live within walking distance from a dog park that I go to most days, as well as a local courtyard for them to run and play. I have plenty of toys and supplies for dogs, and am comfortable bathing and drying them - with a warm fluffy towel, of course.

Whether they are hyper, laid-back, or in the middle, it is important to know that first to be prepared to accomodate an individual dog's needs best. If the dog has any specific likes or dislikes, it is also crucial to know this ahead of time.
A typical day
Fetch, tug, and lots of booty rubs! I love walking pups up Bascom Hill, and by Lake Mendota on the Lakeshore Path. Dogs tend to get very excited being near the water and the Mendota ducks.
