Hi, My name is Christie. I've been walking dogs as a business since 2nd grade for my neighbors in Santa Barbara and Goleta areas. I'm reliable and love to take dogs on a big adventure! I got my very first dog with my own money I earned from dog walking in sixth grade. I purchased a brindle boxer puppy in Ojai and named her "Lady". We completed puppy agility classes together with others and became best friends for life. I do not own an animal as of now, but am hoping to add one to my family once I become more established in my career. I look forward to meeting your furry little friends! After Christie's visits I can say, "well done." Our dog Pip is sensitive and shy, Christie understands this and provides Pip reassurance. When Pip was a puppy she was bitten on the ear by a large dog. Pip is now 12 years old and is still afraid of big dogs. Christie observes her surroundings and when walking Pip handles any approaching situation keeping Pip calm and cared for. Her observation skills excellent and her love for our dog means Pip is going to do just fine when we are not home.
Christie is attentive to our dogs in her care. She is aware of her surroundings and does not allow our two Westies to interact with another dog without permission from us. Our dogs look forward to her visits and she lovingly talks to them, they trust her which is reassuring for us as we know they will enjoy their time with her while we are away. She follows instructions concerning feeding schedule and treats. Our dogs like play time with her and their walks. She is responsible to show up and do the job correctly. Most importantly she loves them and it shows.
