I have had dogs my entire life. Beyond caring for my own dogs, I have fostered dogs for no-kill shelters until they found forever homes, and dog-sat for many friends and family. I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes, and love to take care of them and give them a loving, fun environment. I believe dogs deserve the very best care and attention. I am more than happy to do that for others when their lives are too busy. My dog Maggie loves spending time with other dogs above all else, so it is ideal for me to take care of other social dogs who need time with friends. Maggie is very playful, young, and energetic. I like to take the dogs to an off-leash park where they can run free and have fun.

Sadly, our dog was hit by a car under the supervision of Christiane F. He was not wearing his collar when taken to the emergency vet, meaning he was outside and off-leash. :(
Christiane was fantastic! Memphis loved his stay with her!!! Christiane took him on great outings like going to the park and swimming in the two short days Memphis was with her. She sent regular updates and photos on their outings. Will definitely leave Memphis with Christiane in the future! Thank you so much!!!
Christiane was great! Chloe was so happy around her and I can tell she really enjoyed her stay with her. I will definitely take Chloe back to Christiane in the future!

I just need to know what your dog likes. Does he/she like to be very active? Are they afraid of cats? Are they social/antisocial? Do they prefer a dog bed, or a couch or a human bed? What kind of food do they like? Do they have medications? Etc. Whatever I ought to know! I'm a particular fan of larger dogs, my favorite breeds are shepherd varieties, huskies, and samoyeds, but I truly love all dogs!
A typical day
Depending on a dog's preferences - I know some dogs prefer to socialize and run, while others just like to nap alone! - I like to take dogs on scenic walks at Echo Park Lake or Griffith Park. I like to go on jogs with more athletic dogs, or take a stroll around Echo Park Lake. There are a lot of fantastic dog parks I have visited for more social dogs.
