Dogs and Cats are Family to Me!
Pet care experience
I've lived with furry creatures ever since I was very young. Over the years, I've had the privilege of being"sibling" and "mama" to 20 dogs, 6 cats and 1 hamster, as well as being a friend to many, many more. I've learned a lot about dogs and cats through my experience rescuing animals (they always seem to find me or me them), years of living with them, and the year or so I spent working in a veterinarian's office. In the course of all that time, I've learned how to administer medicine to sick cats and dogs, how to administer sub-cutaneous fluids for cats, how to bottle-feed kittens, where the animal emergency rooms are located in Houston, and where the wildlife rehab organizations are. I've sat for hedgehogs, hamsters and rats, as well as dogs and cats; safe to say, I'm comfortable with most furry mammals (and even some feathered and finned!) and they seem to be comfortable with me too (which makes me quite happy!).

We had the pleasure on numerous occasions to experience the service of Chris Brown. We will always call her again when we are in need of her services. She is very reliable, cheerful and knowledgeable - but best of all - the dogs absolutely love her. She is the one for us.
Christiane is an awesome dog sitter. She watched my big lug for 10 day stretches at a time and gave him so much love and attention. He gets so excited whenever she comes over! He was well cared for and having her there meant I didn't have to worry about him while we were away. Me and Louie give her big thumbs (and paws) up!
Christiane has sat for our pets multiple times. She was open to not only watching our dogs, but our cat, and my daughter's rats. She was very conscientious and made sure she had all the special instructions for each pet. I trusted her implicitly since I know how much she loves and cares for animals. Each time we returned home, our pets were happy to see us, but were not upset or stressed. If you want peace of mind while you are out of town, have Christiane sit your pets!
Christiane had been my neighbor for several years and among the many things we had in common is the love of animals. Christiane watched over our fur babies too many times to count and I always knew they were in the best of hands. No pet care instructions are too long or silly for her to take seriously. And Believe me when I say, we had some special orders when our pets were aging. She is an absolute blessing to our pets and to us as a friend. A typical day
I will customize our activities depending upon the age and health of your pet. Walks in the neighborhood, long or short, walks in the park (on-leash only), games of fetch, or simply cuddling and enjoying each other's company. (Research is showing that just as pets can have a calming effect on humans, hanging out with humans can lower their cortisol levels as well!) While housesitting, I also water plants, take in mail, put out trash, scoop litter boxes, and clean up after doggies on the home grounds.
