Pet care experience
About Me: Hi, I'm Christiana! I am currently a pre-vet student planning on going to vet school in the near future, and am also a part-time veterinary assistant with more than 2 years of experience. My Pets: I currently have Younghee, a 14 year old Shih Tzu who's an absolute sweetheart with both animals and people. However, that means that any dogs boarding here or coming for the day MUST be good with small dogs! My Schedule: I work and go to school part-time, meaning my schedule is really flexible! Please reach out to me with your desired dates/times and I will do my best to work with you. My Home: My parents and I live in a single family home with a large and securely fenced backyard. The neighborhood is also very quiet and lovely to walk around with your furry friends! My parents and I are all animal lovers and are very experienced in taking care of them, as we've had all kinds of dogs for at least two decades now. Special Services: Please note that I am also able to medicate your pets if needed, and can give subcutaneous injections, due to my experience as a vet assistant. I am also open to taking care of senior, special needs, and young pets (ex. puppies). If you have any special requests, please let me know and I will do my absolute best to accommodate you.

Christiana was amazing!! She took excellent care of my dog. She gave frequent updates and took great photos. I felt really well-informed about everything and my pup loved her! My house was also left very clean and tidy when I returned which is a big plus for me. I could not recommend her more highly!!

Our house has a large backyard with a covered patio, allowing both shade and sunlight for your pets! In addition, the yard is securely fenced on all sides, and extra care will be taken when the pets are going on bathroom breaks to ensure that no accidents happen. I also have a small Shih-Tzu at home who is friendly with both people and other animals. She's around 14 years old, and would love to meet your pets as well!

All dogs that board with me MUST be good with small dogs! I have a Shih-Tzu living with me and it's important that everyone gets along in order to ensure the best stay possible. I would like to know a dog's general exercise needs/level - do they need a high intensity walk/run or do they like to stroll around? I'd also like to know if they're comfortable with other dogs and/or leash reactive, as that's important, considering how many other dogs there are in the neighborhood. I want to ensure both your pet's and my safety at all times. It'd be nice to know what their favorite treats/toys are, if any, or if they have any specific triggers that I should watch out for. In all, whatever the owner deems is important to let me know in order to ensure their dogs' overall safety and happiness while they stay with me!
A typical day
We'll go on walks around the local area and take our time to explore as much as possible. Overall, I love walking throughout the neighborhood and finding new places, so it'd be great to have a canine companion with me when I do! If the dog is comfortable with it and the owner allows it, I would love to take clients to the dog park - that's one of my dogs' favorite ways to socialize and get some exercise, but I understand that some dogs may not be able to do so. Again, I'm adaptable and will do whatever it takes to make you and your dog feel most at home!

Availability
Due to my part-time schedule, I am super flexible when it comes to caring for your pets. In addition, my mother stays at home during the times that I am going to work and/or school, so your pets will not be left alone. She is experienced in caring for pets as well, as we've had dogs in our lives for two decades now! We can provide daily exercise as needed and also, of course, lots of love and attention for your furry friends.
