I grew up with all types of animals and desired to be a vet, but I ended up in the medical field. I recently lost my beloved dog of 8 years and looking to dog-sit others until I’m ready to get another dog. My husband is home full-time during the week, so your pet is rarely alone. We have security cameras to monitor your pets when we run errands on the weekends (1-3 hours max). We only watch one dog at a time so that they can get specialized attention and treatment. Our home is your home! Your pet has the full range of the house but MUST be potty trained (NO PEE PADS) My husband has had multiple foot surgeries and can’t do extremely long walks. We prefer low to moderate-energy dogs who are leash trained. *NO dogs who have shown signs of AGGRESSION or ever bitten* As a hospital worker I have seen too many dog bites~if your dog shows any signs of aggression you will need to have someone come pick them up because we will not risk injury.

Our dog is very anxious and has not stayed overnight with anyone other than family. Christian and Jim were patient with Georgia and helped her to feel comfortable in their home. Will use again!!
Christian kept our girl, Maggie, for two weeks while we were on vacation. She went above and beyond to care for her. She sent updates regularly, made sure she ate (she’s really finicky with food), and took her on regular walks. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our favorite child was being loved on. Thank you, Christian! Maggie will definitely be back for a visit.
Christian took amazing care of our dog! She was happy, clean, and calm when we picked her up. Christian gave her medicine.
My dog Luna loved staying with Christian. We had a meet and greet before the boarding dates which made me more comfortable allowing someone else to watch my dog. They are experienced dog owners without their own dogs currently. They sent pictures while staying with them and kept me updated on how she was doing. I will use them again for boarding when I’m out of town. Thanks.

We have a large backyard (not fenced) and several parks nearby. If your dog is good in the car, park visits are something we love to do. We have multiple-size crates (if needed).

The more we know, the better, but below are typical things that are helpful to know 1. What is your dog's personality like? Are they active, playful, or the type to sleep all day? 2. Does your dog require crating, or are they ok to freely roam when left alone? Will they get into the trash, or anything else to be aware of? 3. Where does your dog usually sleep? Knowing your dog's daily schedule will make it easier to make them feel at home and not anxious when you're gone. All dogs must be on flea & tick medications. Please let me know if your dog has any dietary restrictions, allergies, special medical conditions or has been sick in the last 30 days. Please bring your dog's food /treats, and poop bags with them and anything else to make them comfortable. I have plenty of dog beds.

Although my husband doesn't work, I work the evening shift Mon-Fri, so we tend to be up late and sleep in (rarely awake before 9 am). This has never been an issue with any of the dogs we have watched since we take numerous potty breaks before bed.
