Hello Pet Parents! I live in an apartment on the Upper West Side, a couple blocks away from Central Park. While in my care, your pet will have full access to my home. No crate needed, unless your dog is accustomed and more comfortable in one. I love to go for long walks and can assure your dog will get much exercise. I am very affectionate and parental with pets. It is very hard for me to not think of them as children. They are very emotional beings and I try my best to keep their spirits up while also keeping them safe. I will not host more than one dog at a time. My main reason for wanting to dog sit is to have something to love and care for again. I can’t afford the expenses or full time job associated with owning my own pet. I also need a flexible job while I’m in school. Please feel free to write me with any questions or if you would like to meet up and check my apartment out before trusting your pet to me. I am a Package Design and Branding student in my Senior year at FIT. I have a 5 year old lab/chow mix that I recently parted with - my father retired and moved to Florida with our family dog. I miss him terribly. I miss the unconditional love and companionship dogs offer in exchange for love and a good scratch on the head. I’m looking to fill the void in my heart from parting with my pet and also make some money to support myself while I’m in class. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs all of my life (just turned 30). I have owned a dog for the last 5, almost 6 years. I would make him Halloween outfits and take him to get his picture taken with Santa every year. I would keep him well groomed, bathed, and fead. I love laying down on the floor and holding him - taking naps together. My experience administering medication I am good with hiding medicine in food, but do not have experience with physically putting medication in your pets mouth.
