Aloha my name is Christian and as a child I took to nature and found all walks of life needed someone or something, I wanted that someone to be me and I wanted to provide anything I could to care for all living things. At a young age I would study fish, geckos, birds even my house hold cat Maui. I studied them by bringing myself down to their level putting myself in their "shoes" to be able to know what they needed and how they lived. This fascination grew as I moved from O'ahu to Australia where the creatures were far from boring, meeting and learning about Koalas, crocidiles, and everything in between! Knowing how much responsibility it takes to ensure the quality of ones life is exceptional I waited for the right time to care for my first dog, at 11 years old, on christmas, the time had come.. with a bow on her head! A puppy golden retriever! I spent every waking (and sleeping) minute with her.. training her to be a therapy dog for my father when he came home who was deployed at the time. She did so well with the typical "dog stuff" that I went to an even deeper level of training, where sit and stays ended, I taught her about love (not wanting to hurt or be mean to the squirrels) , respect (being nice to the cats) , loyalty (staying to care for others by trying to cheer them up), and towards the end of her 11 years of beautiful life I taught her about gratitude and how grateful I am to have had her. Towards the end of her life she started to have hip pain so I would carry her to get upstairs or outside to the water to swim and help her joints, I could feel she thought she was a bourdon and wanted to show the fighter in her that she wasn't in pain so she'd run like a puppy and roll in the sand! Though one day after we did our swimming and surfing she layed down and gave me a look that said "thank you" and passed away in my arms on Waimanalo Beach. The selflessness, loyalty, respect, and love of Bella (my golden who passed) will live on through me, and I can only hope to help the quality of life for others along my journey. I'm extremely athletic, fun, and caring. Truthfully I'd like to just spend some time around all different types of dogs and cats and give them all the attention they could ever want! I'd like to add that my need to care for all living things didn't end with animals, as a rescue diver I'm CPR, EFR, and O2 certified for infants and adults knowing the differences between animals, people(adults and infants), my point is I will do whatever it takes to make sure your pet isn't only being watched, happy, but healthy and safe for when you get home as I view them like a family remember.
