I've had a dog in my life for as long as I can remember. I'd rather be spending a night in with my furbabies than spending time with humans. The most we've had at one time were five. My life consisted of let them in, let them out. Time to eat. Lots of lazy time. Repeat. Never a dull moment! We recently had to say goodbye to our 12 year old yorkie, Bandit, due to numerous painful issues he was experiencing. Thst was the first time in 18 years we didnt have a dog, but we do have a grand pup named Gus the Frenchie who I watch frequently when my daughter and my son in law go out of town. In August 2020 we welcomed a Lab into our home. Her name is Rye Lee. Because of Rye Lee, any dog we accept MUST be kennel/crate trained. She has free reign of our bedroom when we must go out and at bed time. Therefore, I only feel comfortable with your furbaby being in their kennel/crate during those times to avoid any doggie on doggie issues. We live on the Cane River and have a pool, so I'll need to make sure your dog can walk on a leash for potty time. I can't pass up a dog in public without wanting to stop and love on it, hug it, and pet it! (For the exception of personal therapy dogs) I don't have a favorite breed because I love ALL the dogs God created! Dogs are my people!! I can't wait to meet yours!
