Pet care experience
I have had dogs, cats and many other types of pets (birds, mice, hamsters, hissing cockroaches, scorpions and more!) my entire life. My mother is a vet tech, so from a very young age my sisters and I were taught how to properly and compassionately care for animals. My husband and I own a duplex in the mid-city area, near the fairgrounds and have a completely fenced-in yard with a back deck for lounging. I also have a car and frequently take clients to Audubon or City park, depending on the desires of their pet parents.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that need to be accounted for, as I am happy to accommodate even the most fickle of cat/dog preferences. I ask all clients to give details on walk style, food preferences (time/amount/eating style) and bathroom requirements ahead of their first stay via a quick and easy google form. This helps me to notice right away if the cat/dog is settling into their stay comfortably.
A typical day
All have pups have different walk preferences (a bulldog I once sat preferred one block walks, max!), so I have different favorite spots depending on pup preferences. City Park, Bayou St. John and the Greenway are all within 1 mile of my home, so for those who prefer longer walks, I love to hit some of those spots. Getting a chance to head into City Park, pick up some beignets and relax by the Bayou is one of my personal favorite routes :)

Availability
I am a recently graduated, graduate student from Tulane University where I studied biology. I am currently working remotely from home, which means that I am home full time during the week. This work schedule has been wonderful for taking care of a wide range of pets and giving them tons of attention while their pet parents travel :)
